Koolfoam EPS has excellent insulation properties with a confirmed K value of 0.038 or better. Our EPS can be cut to any size to suit customer needs.
EPS is resistant to the effects of moisture. Condensation only marginally affects the thermal performance of EPS and EPS retains its dimensional stability. Even under the worst conditions (i.e. saturation caused by improper use) EPS insulation will maintain its shape, size, structure, cohesion, physical appearance and approximately 85% of its insulation value.
Koolfoam Underfloor insulation is an approved product for the warm up N.Z eeca scheme provided in 60mm thick sheets with a product R value of R1.5.
